West Midlands Hospital Cosmetic Surgeon Mr Dalvi Humzah has scooped a top prize at a showcase awards ceremony for the aesthetics industry.

Mr Humzah has won the ‘Best Independent Training Provider’ award for the fifth consecutive year and received his prize at the Park Plaza Hotel in London.

He was also ‘commended’ for his collaborative work with the Medical and Aesthetic Training Academy in the ‘Professional Initiative of the Year’ category.

The Dalvi Humzah Training courses that he delivers are assisted by Aesthetic Nurse and Assistant Tutor Anna Baker who was also crowned Aesthetic Nurse of the Year.

Mr Humzah, who is based at West Midlands Hospital, fended off the challenge of 8 other finalists in one of the competition’s most sought after categories.

His training programme, Dalvi Humzah Aesthetic Training was considered to have advanced the education of medical aesthetic professionals most effectively during the last 12 months.

Judges looked for engaging methods of delivery, a high quality, relevant, generic programme, a continuous development and improvement programme and achievement of measurable outcomes by delegates.

The winner was selected from the finalists using a combination of Aesthetics reader votes and judges scores and their teaching achieved the highest score in this category.

Organised by the Aesthetics journal, the Aesthetic Awards is one of the premier awards event for the aesthetics industry and recognises excellence and the outstanding achievements of practitioners, surgeons and suppliers.

Mr Humzah was recognised for his training events including Anatomy and Advanced Injection Technique Training at the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Facial Anatomy Technique Training at The University of Glasgow Clinical Anatomy Skills Centre.
