West Midlands Hospital Is A Home-From-Home For Diane
Wednesday 13 September 2017

A delighted patient who has undergone cosmetic surgery at West Midlands Hospital has described her visit as like being ‘home from home’.

Diane travelled a considerable distance for her liposuction surgery at West Midlands Hospital.

But she felt that despite a long journey it was well worth it and she was delighted with the care and treatment she received right from the outset.

Diane had never visited the Halesowen-based private hospital previously but says she would definitely return to the hospital for any future surgery.

She said:  “The standard of treatment and care I received at West Midlands was exceptional. The hospital has such a lovely feel to it and the nurses on the ward were so attentive, going beyond the call of duty for me and nothing was too much for them in seeing that I was made as comfortable as possible.”

Liposuction is a type of cosmetic surgery that breaks up and sucks fat from the body and is most commonly used on the abdomen, thighs, buttock, neck, chin, upper and backs of the arms, calves and back.

Diane says she would highly recommend the hospital to other patients who are considering cosmetic surgery or other procedures.

She added: “I don’t think the care and treatment could have been much better anywhere else and I’m not really the sort of person who leaves lots of feedback about things but I wrote to the hospital to thank all the staff and tell them what a wonderful experience I’d had because it’s important to give credit where credit is due.

“In the ward, I did not feel like I was in a hospital, but felt at home because the atmosphere and ambience was excellent and the nurses put me at ease.

“Also I liked the fact that I was not rushed out the next day and I never felt any pressure to leave so that added to the wonderful treatment I received.

Diane added:  “The consultant was very professional and reassuring and I had every confidence in him to do a good job.

The hospital is extremely well run and I would not hesitate to have another procedure done there, knowing I will be well looked after.

“I’d like to thank everyone at West Midlands Hospital who supported me before, during and after my treatment.”
