I developed an interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy early on in my career and worked for the NHS in an Occupational Health setting. This experience allowed me to identify the impact of musculoskeletal disorders on people's ability to work. I joined Ramsay Health Care in 2016 where I work across the outpatients department, ward and deliver the clinical Pilates class and Hydrotherapy service.
I am interested in the rehabilitation of people with long-standing conditions, using my skills and knowledge of Pilates and Yoga to restore normal, pain free movement and encourage people to feel confident in their movement. During my post graduate study I was lucky to be tutored by highly skilled specialists/ researchers in areas such as whiplash, headaches and upper limb disorders and enjoy applying these skills to relevant patients.
I am an APPI certified Pilates Instructor and teach 3 Pilates classes and run Pilates Retreats in the Midlands. I have completed 4 half marathons and I also regularly attend gym classes and Yoga. I enjoy tasting new cuisines both in the kitchen and eating out and my little boy keeps me very busy!
